Crappie - The crappie bite has been good on Lake Talquin the last few days.  Still in the channels 10 to 15 feet deep.  Best jig colors blue/black, sour grape and bubble gum…using red, white and black 1/16oz jig head …also adding a number 5 lead.  Also, some good catches brought in using minnows.

Catfish - Lots of catfish still being caught all over the lake using Pond worms and Sonny’s stink bait.

Bass - Good reports on bass in 5 to 6 feet of water using spinner baits.

Crappie - The bite was great over the weekend on Lake Talquin…lots of crappie caught and nice quality.  The crappie have moved into the channel…best crappie jig colors bubblegum, John Deer Green and Green Hornet…using 1/16 oz jig heads red, orange and white.
